create your Profile and submit your application online. The Commission
request all applicants from AU Member States to send online detailed CVs in
accordance with the format indicated. The Commission further encourages

for employment?

Q. Can I apply for an internship?
A. The African Union provides opportunities for students enrolled in a
graduate programme to undertake an internship at its
Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Q. As an Intern, Can I receive financial assistance from the AUC?
A. Financial aid is not available to interns through the AUC.
Q. How can I contribute to the work of the AUC?
A. The Organization accepts voluntary financial contributions if
consistent with its aims and activities.
Q. I received an email from a AUC organization and/or a AUC official.
Could this be a scam?
A. Some electronic messages may falsely state that they are issued by, or
in association with, the African Union. See ‘Official Warning from the AUC’.
Please be aware that the AUC does not request payment at any stage of
the application and review process.
Q. I have a project to advance the goals of the African Union. Does the
AUC offer financial, logistical or legal assistance?
A. No. Being an Organization of sovereign states, its resources are
allocated only to programmes which have been officially approved by its members.
However, there are several ways Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) can
collaborate with the AU on its activities.

Q. Does the AUC offer scholarships?
A: The AU offers no general scholarship or student exchange programme.
Q. Employment History Part on Personal Profile is not saving?
Please note that you can add one or more of your employment experience by clicking on the 'Here' button on the Employment History tab. Your employment History can be saved
successfully only when the information you have provided is full accepted after vaildation. For example when filling your three area of expertises in your employment, the TOTAL of the 3 percentages cannot be greater than 100%.
one the 'how many people you have supervised' field, you need to enter numbers only like 1,2,5,..(0 if you have never supervised).
Q. I am unable to enter my Education and Family info?
A: Education and Family info part of the personal information requires Java Script to be enabled in your Internet browser; to enable your browser javascript.
(i) if the browser you are using is Mozilla Firefox, go to Tools Menu -> Options -> Contents Tab -> Check the Enable Java Script Box -> Click Ok and then exit.
(ii) if the browser you are using is Internet Explorer, On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, and then click the Security tab.
Click the Internet zone.
If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4
If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
a. Click Custom Level.
b. In the Security Settings – Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.

A: Click 'My Applications' in your personal profile to verify that the vacancy appears; this is your confirmation.
